time to get serious!

so through all the research I've been doing about females in EDM I have found out that some female EDM artists hide the fact they are girls.... And I'm like WHY?!? It doesn't make sense to me at all why hide who you are to please a mildly sexist music industry. I refuse to be like ok!

I am a proud female trying to make it in a mainly male dominated EDM world. Yes I expect challenges and people who doubt me but what fun would it be if we didn't have haters to prove wrong? LawlzKat many great musicians have faced many obstacles My hero Mr. David Schmitt (Breathe Carolina) Had to overcome people doubting him because he was young. Well I'm young too for those who do not know I am 17 (18 in February) years old. and You know what I am  proud to be this young and determined.

Meet my idol! Mr. David Schmitt

This man you see is the reason I make music. He gave me inspiration when I needed, he gave me a voice when I was silent. He's just a great human being and I hope some day to work with him and show him that he has inspired me to be all I can. I love this man, I don't mean it in a "omg lets have babies" kinda way. I mean I legitimately  love him for all he has done for me whether he knows it or not this man has saved my life and I can never thank him enough.

Ahoy Gruesome world! I have some news my faith in my goal has been restored as a simple girl losing faith in her dream, I stumbled across some information that restored all my faith. Krewella a group I haven't heard too much about is composed of girls! It makes me happy to see that it is possible to make as a female in this world and I am a very happy camper!
